Heidi Montag has threatened to stop taking her birth-control pills in a bid to start a family with reluctant hubby Spencer Pratt.

The 22-year-old tells her pal Audrina Patridge in a new episode of The Hills that she wants a baby and will do what she can to make it happen.

She said: “My plan is to maybe stop taking my birth control. Spencer doesn’t know how much he wants a family. I think we need a family - and I’ll make the call!”

And Heidi added that she has a plan to get him in the mood to make love, she said: “I’m going to be cooking. I’m going to light candles everywhere and have romantic music.”

She added: “I always get what I want!”
